The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
To work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to meet and exceed Hotel Budget
Assist in directing day to day activities of the sales, developing and implementing total sales and marketing strategies
To provide leadership and direction to the sales team by effectively communicating the strategies and goals of the department
Ensures that maximum profitability and growth is in line with the company's vision and values
To ensure all proposals, confirmations and enquires are responded within 24 hours
To establish and main long term relationship with existing and new major key Corporate Accounts
To welcome Corporate VIP guests and build long term rapport with them
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management
Skills
We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:
Minimum 5 years of related experience with 2 years of experience in similar capacity with demonstrated track records
Degree in any discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience in hospitality industry or Sales and Marketing setting
Working knowledge of Opera System and Delphi is preferred
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong understanding of customer's business and market dynamics
