Job Description

The Head of Global Costing and Analytics manages all financial aspects of the end-to-end customer supply chain including all customer acquisition channels, branches, customer servicing and collections.

The role is responsible for creating a program to improve cost transparency and drive sustainable margin improvement across all of the Retail Bank, Private Bank and Commercial Bank's products and locations.

The role is responsible for developing multiple tools including Activity Based Costing and Technology Total Cost of Ownership

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* End-to-end financial evaluation of the cost of servicing the Retail Banking customer from acquisition to collections
* Map customer consumption of cost across all channels
* Financial evaluation of customer cost across all retail and SME products, by country
* Develop customer cost consumption metrics using activity based costing and unit costing
* Quantify capacity in the supply chain and opportunities for reengineering
* Create budgets and long range plans for customer costs, by channel
* Use competitive intelligence, industry and macroeconomic indicators, to inform plans
* Investment optimization - create frameworks to evaluate investments and returns in the customer supply chain

Qualifications & Skills

* Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis gained in leading financial services company (ies)
* Working knowledge of some or all aspects of retail banking customer supply chain e.g., branch economics, collections or customer acquisition processing costs
* Proven problem solver using quantitative techniques
* Excellent communication skills, written and presentation
* Proven analytical skills with ability to develop proof of concept frameworks and business cases
* Ability to drive results
* Strong people leader with ability to build and motivate a team
* Team player and ability to work well within a matrixed environment
* Experience working in Consumer Retail Finance Regional or Group level, Corporate Strategy and Risk Functions
* Undergrad in economics, engineering or finance; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
