Finance Manager - Cash Optimization - DuPont - Singapore

Job description
This is an exciting and important role in the new Performance Chemicals organization focused on the understanding of the cash needs and cash generation capabilities of the new standalone operations so as to identify opportunities to improve cash forecasts, optimize net working capital, and develop and drive strategies & actions to minimize financing related costs arising from the funding of business operations.

The incumbent must be a self-motivated and customer-oriented individual with a strong sense of ownership and good business acumen. Strong leadership & communications skills are also pre-requisites to this role which leads a dynamic global team across the world.

Major Responsibilities:

Maps & understands the sources and applications of cash across the PChem organization globally
Actively works with the business teams to identify key business drivers for cash use and generation to:
Develop a robust cash forecasting process to ensure that all cash needs are met
Identify opportunities for minimizing cash footprint
Drives the implementation of strategies and processes, taking into account Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Business Regulatory related requirements, to minimize interest costs arising from business operations

Qualifications

Required Competencies:

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline. MBA preferred.
Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with impact
Sound analysis, judgment and problem solving skills
Ability to engage with business teams to identify key drivers & needs to facilitate business strategy development and operating decisions
Understands key financial metrics and projection, cash flow, P&L, gross profit margin analysis and how these influence business decisions.
Prior experience in Treasury, and Business Analysis is an advantage
Must have prior experience managing, leading and working with cross regional, cross cultural teams
