Job description

The incumbent will play a pivotal role with responsibility for people, client issues and processes in accordance with the EH&B business plan. Manages and render advisory support to client accounts with their medical, dental, life and disability benefits plans and programs.
You can also look forward (but not limited to):
Client management in the areas of leading client/ team meetings/ projects and deadlines by utilizing project management tools
Oversees other team members in the execution of strategy including management of open enrolment process including confirmation of specific scope of services, compensation type, project timeframe and required data
Accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts
Establishes necessary carrier/ vendor relationship with appropriate contacts and in resolving client issues
Involves in marketing and renewal process and in reviewing claims and utilization data
Generates new sales through existing clients and clients referrals in accordance with sales plans and in actively promoting and introducing other Mercer products and services to clients
Develops plans for client base and marketing to prospects

Desired Skills and Experience
To excel in the role, the ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge in Employee Benefits with at least 8-10 years of health benefit experience.
In addition, you will also need to possess:
BA/BS Degree is preferred
Strong Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a demanding and fast paced work environment
Ability to work independently and also a strong team player
