Director - Corporate Marketing - Samsung Electronics - Singapore
Job description
Responsible for Samsung Singapore’s marketing function which includes consumer marketing teams of all product division, Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility, Market Intelligence insights and research, Digital and Online Marketing
Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to drive consumer preference and awareness for all key product division which will lead to the achievement of sales revenue , market shares objectives & brand preference
Provide leadership to the team, including coaching & development plan to help the team deliver their output
Set mid to long term brand development strategies and action plans to achieve them
Ensure optimal use of country marketing resources to achieve improved ROI, achieving the country profit goals
Lead consumer and market insights to translate insights to strategic action plans of product division
Drive use of alternative new media, digital marketing, social media initiatives platform to reach our consumers including leveraging on Samsung.com
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree preferably with at least 15 years in relevant fields with at least 8 years in management role
Experience in working within a world class multi-national organization and in a complex high performance organisation
Good business acumen with strong commercial awareness in market and consumer trends
Strategic yet practical in operations & execution
Experience in managing a large diverse team and varying capabilities
Strong leadership and 1st class communication skills
Proven ability to interact and work with diverse levels, both internal and external stakeholders, representing the company
