Job description
The Sales Director will drive the achievement of revenue targets for software sales solutions for the designated product line. This will be primarily Prognosis solutions for Unified Communications and Contact Centres. Sales will be achieved from new business and existing customers. The role is responsible for selling direct to current and new end-users as well as developing sales opportunities with IR current and new business partners across Asia Pacific / ASEAN. Sales are achieved through diagnosing customer pain points and providing solutions through discussion, presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.

The Sales Director – Asia Pacific / ASEAN is responsible for generating software sales revenue using IR’s proven sales process, as follows:
Generating sales leads and leveraging leads delivered by marketing and other channels from existing customers and new business opportunities.
Qualifying sales leads by need, budget, timeframe, authority and process.
Determining requirements through discussions, presentations and demonstrations.
Constructing and delivering compelling proposals.
Negotiating and closing sales.

Mobilising the extended team internally, namely: technical sales, consultants, marketing, product management, senior executives to assist in the achievement of outcomes.
Mobilising external partners such as: technology product partners, resellers, service providers etc.
Actively participating in lead generation activities such as trade shows.

Desired Skills and Experience
Proven track record of sales success through both new business development and account management.
Success in selling software licenses.
Success with multiple and regular software transactions.
Proven sales skills such as negotiation, persuasiveness and excellent communication.
Ability to build strategic working relationships.
Excellent planning and organising skills.
A genuine passion for the software technology industry and a keen interest in continuous learning related to IR products and industry developments.
A proven track record in building customer loyalty and relationships.
Ability to translate customer need into an IR solution to fit that need.
Solution sales experience and approach.
Tertiary qualifications.
