Director - Product - Viki - Singapore

Job description
Reporting to the CEO, this high-impact role offers the unique opportunity to define and execute product strategy for the next great global entertainment company. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Work with executive team to develop and drive over-arching product strategy
Establish and drive strategic product roadmap that will further differentiate Viki and drive exponential results on web and mobile platforms
Manage, lead and grow the existing product team to successfully scale with the volume and growth of Viki’s evolving product
Drive the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, along with post-launch analysis and improvements
Develop a clear and rigorous process to identify market need for new offerings and services
Partner successfully with Viki’s growing engineering team to craft a vision for future products
Define, measure and improve key product metrics


Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree from a leading university
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Math preferred
7+ years of success building, managing and scaling product teams
Early adopter and passionate user of technology with experience developing mobile and/or social platforms and applications
Natural leader with a strategic mindset, strong negotiation and communication skills and a sophisticated understanding of the media industry and technology
Proven ability to work and execute cross-functionally to accomplish objectives and successfully manage multiple competing senior stakeholders
Proven ability to define process strategy, communicate the plan across the organization and deliver a solution that is highly scalable
Ability to address tactical issues in the short-term while maintaining strategic vision for the long-term
Love of travel and other cultures
Experience working with teams and departments across time zones
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
Ability to speak more than one language preferred
