Job Description
There is an opening for a Director, Channel Management, with global responsibility for a high visibility portfolio. The individual will be part of a high performance team and have end to end responsibility for the entire life-cycle in this portfolio. He or she will play a significant role in continuing the rapid growth of Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered and driving deeper penetration with clients.



The main area of focus is the Straight2Bank Access domain which covers a range of electronic bank connectivity options (e.g. Host-to-Host, SWIFT etc.) targeted towards large corporate/FI clients. For these channels, the individual must understand evolving client needs of the large corporate/FI segment, keep abreast of competitive developments, and develop a differentiated channel strategy that leads to rapid adoption and results in deeper client relationships. The position is responsible for delivering on aggressive performance targets, working in close coordination with country sales and implementation teams to achieve results.


Key Roles and Responsibilities
Commercialisation of SWIFT and other Host-to-Host channels
Assist to define the channel strategy and road-map for corporate/FI clients across segments
Build business case for new product development
Develop differentiated value propositions to build industry leadership
Work with global marketing to execute effective marketing and communication programs to support the sale and increased penetration of our capabilities
Training for sales force and other relevant stakeholders
Manage a broad range of stakeholders including technology, client facing teams, and senior management
Prepare monthly materials for Client Access Product Governance Committee
Prepare monthly Client Access dashboard
Prepare monthly scorecard and grading feeding into the global TB scoring process
Lead working committee to streamline the MIS needs and automation
Owner of Client Access Management Information
Work closely with other functions - product / COO Office/sales/implementation teams on MIS related items

Qualifications And Skills

8 - 10 years experience in transaction banking, treasury management or related fields, with a broad exposure to sales, channel, or product management
Familiarity with SWIFT and Host-to-Host electronic channels
Deep knowledge of cash management and trade products and familiarity with treasury/Fx
Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence across a regional or global organization
Persuasive communication skills and strong results orientation
Experience in developing and executing value-based sales propositions in business to business environment
Ability to work at multiple tasks under pressure
Strong influential skills with an ability to inspire and motivate
