Job Description
• Lead New Media marketing efforts for NBCU’s filmed entertainment and television product in the Asia-Pacific region (Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.)
• Drive growth of New Media revenue through proactive marketing and promotional campaigns with regional cable, satellite, broadband, internet, mobile and other platforms
• Act as liaison for marketing leadership in London and efforts in Australia and New Zealand managed by Universal/Sony joint venture based in Sydney
• Responsible for planning and management of marketing budget within region
• Formulate strategic marketing plans and priorities through research and analysis of market/country data to enhance the support of the platforms resulting buy rates of NBCU products in territory
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with New Media clients
• Source and maintain localized marketing assets to be approved and uploaded onto PUMAtv
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups across international divisions of NBC Universal, including International Television Distribution, Theatrical, Home Video and Global Networks
• Performs other marketing and promotional duties and/or special projects as assigned
• Travel in territory with the sales representatives
Key Skills & Experience Required
• Extensive experience within international TV/Film product marketing.
• New Media / Digital Media experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of New Media marketing and solid relationships with international satellite/cable/broadband customers
• Strategic planning/business development experience
• Ability to interact with diverse groups internationally
• Solid leadership and communication skills and proven sales skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities
• Strong team player
• Fluent Mandarin & English language skills, written and verbal

ResponsibilitiesThe Director is responsible for the marketing activities of NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television product to New Media outlets (Pay Per View, VOD, Subscription VOD, Ad-based Free On Demand, Electronic Sell-Through) throughout Asia. In addition, the Director will assist in the development and execution of marketing activities in Asia, in coordination with NBC Universal’s global strategies.
