Seagate Technology is seeking a high caliber individual to lead its Global Channel Marketing Team. You will be responsible for definition and development of marketing strategies in the marketplace, communication with sales and executive management to engineer Seagate as the clear HDD leader in the industry. You will be executing marketing strategies to meet or exceed company objectives and measures / evaluates program effectiveness.
You will have an established track record in high tech field and a strong of understanding of channel marketplace, brand marketing and demand generation programs.

Responsibilities:
You will be the primary owner of Seagate’s brand to the distribution channel network and consumers for component products.
Develop mid to long term strategy and goals at global, regional and segment levels in alignment with the businesses and sales on channel development, product positioning and branding.
Develop the core positioning, messaging and segmentation for our products in market place
Establish consistency in Seagate brand globally with ability of local adaptation
Develop and implement product go-to-market launch plans in the channel, working with all functional groups
Develop derivative sales support tools including launch material – compliment gaps in culture, segment, language and geographical coverage with corporate marketing
Lead, develop and grow a team of regional channel marketing teams to be best in class in skills, knowledge and impact to business
Continuously develop in marketing innovations to enhance sales and marketing productivity and ROI in the field.
Accountable for marketing spent, processes and ROI measurement
Collaborate with corporate marketing to establish requirements, guidelines and support for the various market places to optimize cost, efficiency, needs and growth opportunities.
Active and regular engagement with channel and consumer communities globally

Qualifications

A leader with a vision and a team player
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in marketing, finance or engineering
Minimum 10 or more years of relevant experience with minimum 7 years in channel or consumer marketing
Proven track record in sustainable business and brand development at regional or local level
Energetic, action and results-oriented. Ability to manage at a high level and operational level as well
Experience with working through organizational complexities in a large corporate environment with multi-cultural and multi-regional international teams
Strong competence in marketing, channel, branding and strategy
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and reporting skills.
Must be able to travel up to 40%, including international travel
