Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wines and beer categories, trading in more than 180 markets around the world. The SEA Key Accounts team is part of the South East Asia (SEA) Market in Asia Pacific. SEA Key Accounts makes up approximately 30% of Total SEA NSV.
SEA Key Accounts comprises of several channels, spread across multiple locations in Asia:
Free Trade Zone (FTZ): SEA Key Accounts sells product to a distributor customer in Singapore for export
Travel Retail (indirect): SEA Key Accounts sells product to a distributor customer in Singapore for distribution to a number of Travel Retail customers throughout South East Asia & India Sub Continent.
Dimensions:

Market Complexity:
Managing Diageo’s largest distributor partner, requiring multi-level and multi-functional engagement both internally, and with our customer;
Operating a joined up control environment with a number of partners within Diageo (e.g. Supply, DBS, Singapore Office);
Working across different channels (FTZ and Travel Retail) with customers spread across multiple markets and cultures.
Understanding and upholding the legal and compliance framework around selling to an FTZ distributo
Leadership Responsibilities:
Head of finance function
A member of KAs leadership team.
You will manage a team of 3 people who are based in Singapore.
You will indirectly manage a team of up to 3 people based in Philippines (Business Shared Service Centre).
You will own Key Accounts business performance outcomes
Lead the productivity agenda for the business, as well as create possibilities in conjunction with the team
Purpose of Role:
As business partner to the GM, you will provide advice and support to the GM on all key business issues.
As part of the SEA Key Accounts Leadership team, you will develop and drive the strategy and performance of the Key Accounts portfolio.
As the head of the Finance function, you will drive value for the business by providing insightful commercial decision support and BPM reporting, and maintain a strong CC&E environment across all aspects of the business.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:

Grow the business
Lead the strategic thinking behind and development of annual business plans
Driving business performance through creating commercial insights through financial data.
Champion the productivity agenda for the business
Talent Management
Set the right plans to attract, develop, motivate, and retain productive, engaged finance employees across all businesses based in Singapore
Execute the Finance functional agenda for Key Accounts
Develop a high performing finance team with a strong business partnering focus
Grow talent within the KA team and beyond by working on development plans
Deliver excellence in Commercial Finance
Trade terms and Customer incentive plans;
M&E for trade spend and A&P;
Net Revenue Management;
Customer inventory management
Manage monthly forecasting and reporting
Deliver a rock solid controls and governance environment
Management of key control processes
Identification and execution of opportunities for business control improvement
Qualifications and Experience Required:
BA/BS in relevant disciplines required, plus 8-10+ years of increasing financial and commercial experience. MBA/qualified accountant preferred.
Ability to move between strategic thinking and operational detail
Strong people management and leadership skills
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem solver
Participative work style, strong team player and Interpersonal flexibility
Continuous improvement ethic
Responsive to changing immediate demands of business while maintaining focus on overall priorities.
