Regional Security Manager - Google - Singapore

You'll manage the security staff who keep our Googlers safe and our world-class technologies and facilities secure. You'll collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future. You believe that providing effective security doesn't come at the expense of customer service - you will be our bodyguard (and our long lost pal).

As Regional Data Center Security Manager, you will be in charge of managing vendors providing guard force services and maintaining close partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure working environment.

Responsibilities
Implement performance of data center security standards, policies and practices; manage the daily operations of the vendors providing services including security, life-safety systems, training and risk assessment; conduct investigations of Code of Conduct and other violations as needed.
Collaborate with other groups within Google (Facilities Managers, Hardware Operations, etc.) and outside of Google (Contractors, Emergency Services, etc.) as they relate to daily operations.
Develop security plans for on-site special events and other unique security situations to assure proper access control and evacuation procedures are followed.
Perform data analysis and create benchmarking to support risk assessments and threat identification.
Partner with Facilities and other Google business units to identify safety and security deficiencies, and develop customized policies and procedures to gain compliance with regulations internal and external to Google.

Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience managing security operations in a corporate environment.
Experience conducting investigations including criminal, human resources, and safety incidents.

Preferred qualifications
Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers.
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Fluency in English and Mandarin.
