Job description
The ideal Account Director is a highly passionate, collaborative, outgoing, business oriented leader. This seasoned candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide Strategic and Marketing Leadership
Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies and identify/implement products to help achieve client goals
Develop approach to planning overall marketing communication mix
Create and interpret effective analysis to support marketing recommendations
Develop broad client category expertise
Build and Grow Client Relationships
Understand clients’ business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance
Build trust, credibility and client referrals
Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships and ties
Team Dynamic
Collaboration effectively across teams within market and across region. And with Doremus and other partner agencies
Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment
Provide team leadership that rewards creativity and delivery
Manage Account Financial Performance
Maintain or improve account profitability
Achieve client targets within the context of the underlying opportunity
Work with business development team to develop new client sales proposals
Desired Skills and Experience
University degree required
5+ years of related industry experience, preferably corporate brand marketing experience at an advertising agency or client, or product management at a client company
7+ years of business experience
Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
Proven experience in managing teams working cross-functionally within an organization
Strong knowledge or experience in account management/coordination, campaign planning, media services and digital marketing solutions
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
Fluency in English, Mandarin also preferred
