Director - Venture Programs - Visa - Singapore

Responsibilities

Work as a regional leader within the evolving and expanding construct of Visa’s Venture Program
Establish professional relationship with relevant Venture Capital arms focused on FinTech in the AP region
Establish a thoughtful programmatic approach to market mapping, company tracking and company engagement for the AP region
Develop structured criteria for identifying and measuring new trends and comparing / contrasting companies based on quantitative and qualitative parameters

Comfort with high-touch frequent interaction with multiple small companies/executives over extended periods, maturity to understand that venture/investment is focused and infrequent
Able to engage with various Visa internal groups in technology, risk, marketing, products, IP, etc. to identify or vet opportunities

Qualifications

7-10 years of relevant work exposure to multiple AP markets
Business Savvy with soft skills ability to engage executives, entrepreneurs, Visa clients
Demonstrated experience as an analyst, with venture or strategic research experience
Aptitude for financial services, banking or commerce trends (opportunities, regulation, etc)
Aptitude for technology & software based business models
Ability to construct detailed written analysis of company operations (market, revenue, operations)
Ability to work well within a heavily matrixed organization, multi-national experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written as well as verbal, and can influence without direct authority.
