Director - ABP Consulting - Visa - Singapore

Role Summary

The Analytics Partnership Team consists of analytically-minded problem-solvers. These people are the active partners with the business units and the first and only stop for all analysis.

The Analytics Partner will be dedicated to the Consulting business unit so that they build relationships and knowledge that serves the Consulting unit effectively. This is a Regional role, responsible for interacting with Hub staff, as well as in market staff across the APCEMEA region.

The Analytics Business Partner - Consulting, Will Provide World-class Analytical Support And Thought Leadership. The ABP Will Serve as dedicated point of contact for the Visa Consulting Team
Generate demand for analytics within the Consulting business unit (proactive)

Deliver timely, accurate and agreed upon analyses for the Consulting business unit (reactive)
Support and manage ongoing analysis request
Ability to define strategic needs of the business, analyze business strategies, as well as translate into potential effects on issuer portfolio performance
Provide collaboration, consultation and guidance to the Consulting team to ensure that project objectives are aligned with enterprise strategies and goals; ensure that those expectations and desired results are met efficiently and effectively while also ensuring customer satisfaction with project deliverables
Deliver high quality analyses that synthesize data analysis and research into key fact-based findings and actionable recommendations.
Understand and clarify business objectives and requirements, gain buy-in on the approach, develop briefs and estimate costs
Work with Client Solutions and Analytics Delivery teams to deliver on projects
Support and promote the effective use of analytics within Visa
Ensure Visa colleagues and external clients are being effectively served by conducting ongoing satisfaction assessments
Apply analytics to business problems, and interpreting and distributing results
Foster greater analytic competency to support and guide more fact-based and timely decision making
Create and apply innovative analytical methods of problem solving

Qualifications

Professional

Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor

Sound knowledge of statistical principles
+ years of business experience, with a minimum of 5 years involved with analytics in banking/ payments industry

Card Issuer experience, with deep knowledge on issuing and P&L

Strong academic credentials

Quick learner and shares knowledge

Financial planning and analysis

Direct marketing measurement

Must be team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

Sense of urgency to adapt to quickly changing business needs

Technical
Data Analytical mindset, processing and analysis
Experience and in-depth knowledge of the cards and payments business
Very strong project management skills and experience, with a strong P&L orientation
Expert level Excel – including add-on functionality, macro-programming
Expert level PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
Relationship management skills.
Experience presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders
