PMD Market Development Lead - SEA - Facebook - Singapore


Job description
Facebook’s Preferred Marketing Developer Program (PMD) helps developers build products that make marketing on Facebook easy and effective. The PMD Market Development team exists to ensure the products and services of all PMDs are deployed to their maximum potential. The team leverages these technology partnerships to accelerate Facebook’s sales efforts, on a region by region basis. As a Market Development Lead, you are expected to provide deep product insight and ongoing consultative support to Facebook’s sales team, their clients and agencies. The Market Development Lead will work closely with the Global Partner Manager team fostering relationships with the most strategic partners to develop products and services related to marketing on Facebook. The role covers South East Asia and is based in our Singapore office.

Responsibilities

Provide consultative services to Facebook sales and account management teams whose clients are implementing PMD solutions/tools in the region
Drive product adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing Facebook marketing products, focusing on those that leverage APIs and other advanced technology
Liaise with the Partner Manager team in both the US and EMEA to ensure the optimum mix and combination of partners are present and servicing markets to achieve and contribute significantly to sales objectives. Work with the customer facing teams of international PMDs present in the market for optimum service delivery
Tracking KPIs of PMD penetration and performance in direct clients and agencies
Identify and translate local market opportunities to help build a dynamic, innovative developer partner ecosystem
Prospect and recruit new entrants to the program to help build a dynamic, innovative developer partner ecosystem
Liaise with the PMD infrastructure team on building scaled approaches and processes to in-market activity and communication.Liaise with the PMD Marketing team on region-specific Marcom activity.


Requirements

Entrepreneurial, self-starter
Proven client-facing experience in technical sales or partner management in South East Asia
Consulting experience a plus
Exceptional written/oral communication skills and influence abilities
Excellent project management and quantitative/analytical skills
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally and externally
Experience working remotely as part of a larger international team is a plusDeep passion for Facebook products, technology, and online marketing ideally direct response or performance marketing
Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
