Account Director - Retail Solutions - NCR Corporation - Singapore


Job description
Summary
The incumbent holding this position is expected to manage sales and business results in the territory by continually growing the district's business within the Corporation, while helping the sales representatives to solidify, elevate and nurture relationships within key customer accounts and all members of support groups internal to NCR.

Responsibilities
• Driving the development and execution of sales and services account/opportunity planning.
• Penetrate competitive sales and services accounts, while maintaining existing NCR business.
• Maximize sales and services revenue and margin volume.
• Ensure people resources understand the retail industry and articulate the business value of NCR's Retail solutions, to business users.

• Be a key driver to build strategic relationships with key current users, as well as competitive accounts.
• Effectively coordinates and manages resources to ensure all current accounts and competitive accounts are being handled effectively.
• Strike a good balance between hands-on key account coverage and team engagement to drive the overall sales and service revenue.

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Requirements

• In depth knowledge of the retail industry and NCR solutions, especially the SEA market, is preferable, though not a must, if the candidate has proven track records in similar business environment. Industry Knowledge pertains to one's ability to understand the industry.
• Good network in the retail industry, especially on the SEA market.
• Experience in selling hybrid hardware & software/applications solutions
• Experience in selling and articulating the value of NCR Services to customers a benefit
• Strong record of customer satisfaction
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in selling retail/IT solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing increasing complex accounts
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a sales team of over 5 people with a P/L responsibilities of revenue size of over 10 million, with MNC's
• Demonstrated success in sales coupled with the demonstrated initiative towards advanced training related to management skills
