Director - Program - Security Practice - IDC - Singapore

Job description
IDC Asia Pacific has a vacancy for Program Director - Security Practice, based in Singapore.
This role will be responsible for leading IDC IT Security Practice across the Asia/Pacific region and the successful incumbent will report into the head of ICT/ETAS practice.
The following are some of the responsibilities:
Program Management
Leading the definition, creation and production of IDC market intelligence products and solutions for countries or domains under your responsibility
Maintaining research project planning, scheduling and tracking
Acting as the external & internal representative of IDC research for your domain
Insuring program profitability, cost/benefit analysis on custom research projects
Thought leadership and creation of special reports

Business Development and Client Management
Client facing business development head for your domain
Providing strong support for the sales team in qualifying and closing business
Working with the sales team to develop strategic selling intiatives and account plans
Development of sales proposals
Developing senior executive relationships with clients and key players in the IT industry
Drive and support consulting opportunities from initial lead generation through delivery

Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate is one with the following qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in the IT security sector, preferably in areas of strategy, consulting and/or professional services.
Minimum university/college degree
Strong business development skills
Good communications skill including presentation and articulating concepts and analysis to senior executives
Strong analytical and strategic skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and share
Able to travel regularly
Able to function in an ambiguous environment
