The Red Hat Services team in ASEAN is looking for a Director. The Services team is a strategic business encompassing pre-sales, consulting services, and the education business. Red Hat is evolving and growing its Services organization to engage more broadly across IT environments and offer more strategic services in conjunction with our technology product offerings. In this critical leadership role, you will promote sales alignment and integration, promote the Services business model, offerings, GTM, and operations, and provide leadership and organization management. You'll work closely with the Red Hat Sales team in ASEAN to promote sales and business development for Services across the region, as well as be a key figure in pre-sales initiatives at strategic customers and projects, presenting to prospective customers as the expert in services while preparing or reviewing project proposals including business and technical requirements, deliverable schedules, and delivery times.
As a Director of Services, you will be instrumental in identifying solutions that can be wrapped around Red Hat's technology offerings, as well as educating the Sales teams on how to sell these solutions in the market. We'll need you to be able to define your role within the organization and show initiative in bringing new ideas for how to improve the overall capability and go-to-market strategies.

Primary job responsibilities

Manage the financial performance of the business, including tracking and reporting in regards to margin, revenue, and sales forecasting from both partner and contractor relationships and internal delivery channels
Mentor the ASEAN services teams
Oversee systems and policies review, recommendations, standardization, rollout, optimization, and legal and fiduciary compliance
Plan, lead, and project manage the deployment of new consulting and training products for the Indian market
Plan, lead, and promote marketing initiatives with the local marketing teams
Manage strategic account services play and engagements
Oversee Services sales and be responsible for the overall quality of the Services business
Represent ASEAN business and collaborate with APAC and other global teams for new content prioritization and needs
Adopt and implement India and global offerings and priorities
Manage Services partners

Required skills

12-15 years of experience in the services industry
People and organization leadership skills
Track record of leading a successful consulting business
Technical background as an IT professional to relate and earn credibility with the Consulting team
Expertise in middleware or infrastructure platforms is highly preferred, but not required
Business development and go-to-market experience
Sales leadership and services management experience
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Excellent influencing skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate
