Job Description:
The Director of Marketing GFO is a key strategic leadership role within the Global Franchise Organization (GFO). This is a pivotal role at the intersection of the global need state strategy and local brand relevance and implementation. This position reports into the Franchise Leader GFO Asia Pacific and will be based in Singapore.
The business plan calls for significant growth in our Baby Care need state globally and in the Asia Pacific region. To accomplish this, we will focus on aggressively growing our business through deep consumer insights to expand our equities into high incidence conditions, entering new geographies and developing innovative products

The Director will be responsible for the Need State innovation strategy and pipeline, and hand off to the local markets. This individual will serve on the Regional Franchise Leadership Team (RFLT) and lead the development of the Need State/ Franchise strategic plan in line with the global strategy. Specifically, the Director will:
Develop 5 Yr Need State Strategic Plan for China Baby care and for premium Portfolio pan region
Assess each brand’s unique space to occupy in the Need State and how brands can cumulatively maximize share of the Need State
Partner w/ R&D to validate upstream technologies & assess for equities
Partner with Global Strategic Insights & Equity Owner to validate global innovation
Create global pipeline based on need states & driving towards platforms
Leverage Strategic Agency Partnership to glean insights to shape innovation strategy/pipeline concepts and inform brand building opportunities.

He or she will develop transferable success models across countries, transferring learnings and best practices globally in partnership with the Global Franchise Leadership Team. This person will be responsible for creating a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation with cross functional partners and marketing counterparts. In addition, this person will have responsibility for a team of marketers on the Franchise team and will play in leadership role in talent management and succession planning for the franchise.
Qualifications
A BA degree is required.
Master in business or marketing specialization preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in setting a vision and executing in a similar integrated brand leadership role within a consumer packaged goods organization, preferably with a breadth of functional and/or industry experience is required.
Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required.
Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with regional groups is preferred.
Demonstrated track record of people development and leadership is required
Experience leading in a matrix environment and cross functional teams is required.
Experience in successful partnership with R&D organizations to develop innovative products supported by specific and relevant brand messaging is required.
Proven success in developing strategic agency partnerships to build long term brand health and business is required.
Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions is required.
Experience in providing marketing thought leadership—taking consumer insight and using it to drive thinking and good decisions, is required.
Demonstrated skill in executing and delivering brand leadership in a similar integrated brand leadership role is required.
This role requires 30% international travel.
