Job Description:
This is an inspiring opportunity to facilitate the largest strategic projects in a globally renowned organisation. In this leadership role with high visibility, you will travel 30-50 days a year and take on a significant responsibility related to the company’s change agenda.
Enable complex strategic projects

You will join a newly established PMO that is tasked with ensuring a coherent execution of projects across the entire LEGO Group. As Project Director, you will set vital transformational projects up for success. In overseeing and facilitating the most complex projects you will gain high senior stakeholder visibility and act as a functional expert within project management, helping the LEGO Group change its ways of working. You will:

act as single point of accountability for projects on a day-to-day basis
provide status on projects and take all steps necessary to ensure success of delivery, managing interdependencies and flagging issues to meet promised timelines
ensure project documentation is completed to the suitable standard at all phases of the projects, which includes providing regular status reporting to our analysts
provide guidance to more junior PMs on functional and technical questions.

Leader with project management expertise

In this position, your communication and management skills will be put to the test, as you lead strategic projects, potentially within all areas of the LEGO Group. You will act as an facilitator and change agent, performing well because of your cooperative, trustworthy and helpful nature. In order to apply for this role, you must have:

5+ years of project management experience as well as leadership experience from either project or line organisations (all industry backgrounds will be considered)
prior experience with managing significant, large-scale cross value chain projects with a strategic and transformational agenda
experience in managing a variety of different transformational projects, across varying functions and business units
experience within project management tools, templates and processes from both an operational and reporting perspective
a detailed knowledge of standard project management models and an IMPA certification
an ability to speak and write English effortlessly.
