Director - Financial Analysis - Dell - Singapore

Job description
Senior leadership role based in Singapore, responsible for supporting the APJ End User Computing (EUC) organization for Finance. Supporting the General Manager of EUC, and also collaborative support of the Commercial Sales & Enterprise Solutions (CSES) Finance team.
Specific deliverables will include:
• Alignment of EUC quarterly targets and execution thereof – RUM & OPEX
• Drive operational drivers in support of P&L management – DBM, E2E inventory management, etc.
• Alignment to key product strategies and support drive to deliver required share plans by geo/product to enable success
• Look to directly influence and shape direction of the business within the region – more than Finance role, license to have strong Point of View (POV) about the business and be vocal about it, create healthy discussion and debate
• Support and drive the regional CSES Finance Controllers as they execute EUC plans with their countries and support key activities that can help then enable the growth
• Effective people management
• Pursuit budget management oversight and manage APJ OPEX with support from Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) GEM
• Help drive strategy and key principles alignment for main planning process and the translation into operating plans


Qualifications

Ideal candidate would have:
• At least 8 to 12 years prior experience
• Degree in Finance or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong executive-level communication and collaboration skills, with ability to develop and effectively articulate business cases supporting a specific course of action
• Proven track record of setting a strategy, and delivering results against the strategy
• Strong analytics and strategic assessment skills required
• Prior experience in Sales finance desired, especially on a global scale
• Deep understanding of Dell’s business is highly desirable
• Confidence operating in an ambiguous environment; must be a self-starter
