Job description
Regional Airline IT Solutions

- Define the Solution and Services Strategy for the APAC region and provide inputs to the Global LTP. Insure that budget proposals are reflecting the company guidelines. Monitor budget assigned to APAC.
- Support the Head of APAC at identifying new business opportunities and at executing the Strategic Account Development plans and the contract renewals.
- Contribute to the definition of the Global AIT upsell plans by defining the APAC targets and by executing the activities to achieve the approved plan.
- Support all steps of the customer life cycle from the initial engagement to the sales and the solution build and deployment cycles, qualifying the opportunities, building the value proposition, optimizing the scope, supporting the contract negotiation, the requirements writing, the solution build and its acceptance, the go to market and the post implementation activities such as solution adoption, revenue realization, etc…, all by maintaining a very close interaction with the Head of the Business Solution areas and the Central Portfolio governance to ensure the overall global consistency of the offer.
- Drive the activities required to ensure full customer satisfaction and awareness: presentation of investment plans, roadmaps, bespoke management, solutions management, services and consulting.
- Establish and maintain C-Level relations by organizing regular visits, attending steering’s and strategy meetings, industry events, etc….
- Deliver Competitive intelligence and Market research content, focusing on APAC aspects. Articulate the marketing mix of the Solutions Portfolio for APAC and specifically deliver the Value proposition, the roll out of new solutions and drive regional marketing to ensure maximal awareness and solution adoption (Marketing, Communication and Promotion).
- Support the execution of the programs active in APAC on Business Solution related matters.
- Support the Central Solution Management departments at defining a global strategy for Solutions evolution.

Financials

- Translate guidelines received from central organization into budgets proposals for Solutions (product, services, consulting) and presales activities for the APAC region organization, in line with the AIT Global Strategy.
- Monitor budget usage with respect to deliveries and resource ramp-up.
- Assess deviations and if needed motivate budget changes and requests.
- Ensure optimal solution adoption according to Plan to meet revenue targets.
- Monitor product performance in terms of revenue and adoption.

Reporting

- Provide business reports to head of Airline IT Solutions (LTP, Budget, Upsell plan, account Development plan, inputs to Quarterly Business Reviews, etc…) and to the Head of APAC when needed.

Transformation

- Establish and grow the AIT Solutions organization in the APAC region by recruiting local talents and by ensuring that Amadeus global methodologies, processes and standards are applied. Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities and interfaces with key stakeholders during execution of the activities (solutions managers, sales engineer, product manager, Service Manager and Consulting teams).

Management

- Manage the selection & hiring of new staff
- Fix and follow-up objectives for individuals in line with organizational goals and Heads of Business Solution areas in Central.
- Assist, guide and motivate team members in their assigned functions.
- Manage HR activity and procedures related to their area/department.
- Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organization information.
- Conduct annual appraisal interviews jointly with Heads of Business Solution areas in Central.
- Ensure people's growth and development (incl. assessment, development, coaching, motivation and pay review)
- Provide Leadership and direction to the staff.

Desired Skills and Experience
Masters level university degree (preferably in Business Administration and/or Sales & Marketing or computer Science) or equivalent knowledge.
Several years in the travel industry, managerial assignments and management of large projects.
Expertise in airline business processes such as Sales and Reservation, Inventory and Revenue management, Call centers, Departure Control, etc…

Ability at structuring & growing a regional solution organization, including services and consulting. Result-driven mindset to deliver business benefits for airlines and profitable services for suppliers.
