Lead PP/GA specifically for the North Asia, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia/Singapore (NAPIM) CU
Lead Corporate Reputation strategy for the PepsiCo corporate brand for the NAPIM markets, inclusive of PwP
Member of the NAPIM CU leadership team
Lead Citizenship/CSR strategy across APAC, working closely with regional and CU team members
Lead Sustainability Communications and reporting for APAC
Lead certain brand initiatives across APAC, with particular focus on the NAPIM markets
Key Communications partner for Singapore concentrate plant
Support Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, AP Region, in execution of Region Public Policy and Government Affairs strategy and agenda
Otherwise support the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, Asia Pacific
Key Accountabilities
Lead Government Affairs in the NAPIM franchise markets, in support of the Region President and Senior Director
Interface directly with Ministries of Health and Finance, and represent PepsiCo in industry associations
Lead Corporate Reputation strategy for PepsiCo in NAPIM
Lead strategy and execution for major region-led Citizenship/CSR activities (in particular, working directly with global counterparts as there is no Sector equivalent for this role)
Oversight of region Citizenship/CSR budget
Own APAC Sustainability reporting responsibility, aligning the reporting activities from MU level all the way up to PepsiCo's Global Sustainability report; develop Sustainability materials
Align best practices across regions and market units, and serve as mentor and teacher to PR and Citizenship/CSR associates in markets that do not have local Corporate Affairs staff
Key Communications partner for Singapore concentrate plant
Provide marketing teams with publicity platforms when appropriate
Drive corporate-wide social media activities at the AP level, and local initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Requirements Key Skills/Experience
Mastery of all principles, execution, and advanced technical specialized expertise in all Corporate Communications and Public Policy/Government Affairs disciplines
10+ years of progressive experience with proven leadership track record in broad-based Public Policy and Corporate Communications at senior level
Proven track record for developing effective stakeholder relations strategies aligned with organizational goals and business outcomes
Demonstrated experience working with CEOs, GMs, and other senior leaders in FMCG multi-brand environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential, including writing experience across varied media and communications channels (speeches, news releases, internal business leaders’ communications etc.)
Previous experience in Journalism, Government, or Law considered an advantage
Strong business acumen and ability to understand businesses at both strategic and tactical level
Proven ability to quickly understand and address complex issues; to work collaboratively with others across business units, functional departments, geographies and disciplines: to work on multiple tasks: to work with a very high degree of independence
Proven ability to collaborate with business partners outside the organization (customers, franchise partners etc.)
Proven strategic planning and project management capability
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, policy/law, communications, or a related field of study essential
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Policy/Law, or a related field of study, preferred
