APJ Networking Product Category Director - Hewlett-Packard - Singapore


Job description
The APJ Networking Product Category Director is a critical member of the leadership team. He/she provides sales and product category leadership for the region and leads a team of regional product category managers. He/she represents HP Networking across an extensive HP FlexNetwork portfolio of Data Center, Campus and Branch Switching, Routing and Wireless, Network Management solutions.



Major Responsibilities
Accountable for achievement of order, shipment, revenue targets of HP Networking in APJ
Provides sales leadership and business category management to category teams
Leads product business planning in geographic market (integrating information from marketing, product, sales, and finance)
Leads the team to aggressively increase and achieve market share goals, determining product segment positioning, competitive pricing, product mix and promotional activity in the market
Accountable for overall New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management in the region
Ensure overall margin achievement, understanding profit pools across all category products and segments and drive initiative to maximize profit pools
Drives Product and Solution evangelism for HP Networking with customers, partners, media and analysts

Desired Skills and Experience
Experience Required:
Typically 15+years of professional experience in IT product management
General Management Skills – Demonstrated sales leadership; P&L management skills; executive communication skills; role models HP Way Now Leadership attributes:
