Manage a team of Sales Managers and provide leadership to the team to achieve the following objectives:
- Accountability and ownership of the regional Retail Banking Sales quota achievement.
- Promote and strenghten SunGard position as an established and dependable solutions partner to banks in the region.
- Define and successfully execute sales strategy for the regional business goals with optimal use of resources.
- Day to day regional sales management including market planning, opportunity management, provide leadership support to win new business, review progress and continually monitor team efforts, Approval authority and escalation management for all team request and issues in the region.
- Participate in management reviews to represent the regional team performance.
- Lead / collaborate with other teams within the business unit to improving sales achievement, manage accounts recievables, pipeline development etc.
- Facilitate long range planning for sustainable year-on-year regional growth.
- Collaborate with clients to nurture relationships and leverage SunGard resources to meet business expectations.
- Manage the sales process and ensure adherence with the management policies and standards.
- People Management of the regional sales team including performance review, recruitment and team development / collaboration.
- Network with the other entities externally and internally within SunGard Business units to promote opportunities for SunGard Retail Banking business unit.
Position Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
• An experienced leader with prior experience in managing a sales team.
• Proven track-record of selling mission critical transaction systems to banks
• Regional experience in Asia Pacific markets
• Domain knowledge of FSI
• Sales cycle management
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Cultural sensitivity
• Team player
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of Core Banking, Internet Banking & CRM and Card Management business.
• Business Understanding of Software Solutions including Applications, Infrastructure and Environment.
