Senior VP Finance - Lazada - Singapore

Job description
A key leadership role the candidate will set, implement and oversee financial strategy & operations across all Group companies in South East Asia while reporting directly to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, control and responsiveness in the key finance areas including consolidated financial reporting, A/P, A/R, tax planning, accounting compliance, reporting, cash flow, funding request and corporate administration. Other key requirements include:
Build & implement strategy for scalable financial operations in the SEA countries
Oversee tax planning, access to debt and capital resources and implement audited financials in preparation for an IPO
Ensuring Management accountability for financial performance on budget & forecast and full accountability for Tax matters and corporate planning
Manage relationships with financial institutions and outsourced tax services and audit
Build department and align resources with current growth levels and future growth plans and responsibility to build a procurement function and oversee financial controls
Risk analysis including receivables risk and inventory risk
ROI analysis of different business streams and investment opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience
5 plus years of experience in accounting and financial management with increasing responsibilities for strategic direction, planning and hands-on implementation.
You will have experience working with international tax, forex & multiple international entities gained through an international career
Experience working in high value services with active involvement in deal structuring with ideal experience in tech/growth markets
Strong technical ccounting knowledge and a professional accounting qualification is an absolutely essential and you will be willing to be very hands-on (CPA preferred or ACA/CFA)
Candidates who possess working experience in public listed company will be highly encouraged
Preferably with IPO Experience is a plus
