Sales Manager , TripAdvisor for Business

We are looking for a motivated specialist to assist with the company’s efforts to expand distribution of our content to clients and partners. S/he will be comfortable cold-calling organizations, pitching our products to the relevant contact and getting them to successfully implement one or several of our business listings products onto their websites. This role requires a proactive, motivated, organized, responsible candidate who is able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment. This role is based in our Singapore office.

This role will combine excellent sales and communications skills as well as good relationship building skills. S/he will have a strong background in business development and inside sales, with a track-record of hitting goals.

The role will report to Acquisition Sales Team Manager, APAC and will be accountable for territory growth against established metrics. Dotted line reporting to the relevant Territory Manager where applicable.

What You’ll Do

- Work as an integral part of the TripAdvisor Sales Team to develop, present and convert revenue initiatives within a specific client market via the effective use of telephone and email mediums.

- Meet and where possible exceed agreed revenue targets through continual acquisition of new clients.

- Communicate relevant and tailored solutions to prospective clients based on their individual requirements.

- Upsell and cross-sell new products as they become available.

- Respond to inbound enquiries regarding our self-service content products

- Perform sector research – compile lists of target companies and groups for outreach efforts

- Work together with rest of sales teams in the pursuit of excellent results and flawless execution
- Keep up with product training and new offerings as well as latest TA value proposition

What We Seek

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Equipped with excellent sales, negotiation and communications skills.

• Min. 2 years experience of sales experience (digital advertising/online media sales a plus)
• Self-motivated and thorough
• Experienced at building effective client relationships through positive communication, honesty and trust
• Not intimidated by technical interaction. The successful candidate must enjoy problem solving and be unafraid of technical solutions to ensure successful launch of products
• Excellent written and oral communication in the relevant language/s of the territory covered.
• Target driven and proven self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task and think creatively
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
• Strong organizational and analytic skills
