Director - Programmes - IDA - Mapletree

Job description
We are seeking a Director of Programmes to spearhead, drive and manage the innovative programmes in ETG. These programmes stretch across the space of green ICT, Sensors, Smart Homes and Smart Cities

Responsibilities:
Structures and manages integrated projects and programmes to achieve expected results
Manages large, complex projects/programs by balancing scope, time, cost and quality
Provide leadership and vision for the project/program team
Develop and deliver forward looking vision and execution plans
Prepares fully integrated program timeline; including anticipating and identifying any project risks, mitigations and contingencies, and supporting timely and realistic action plans and issue resolution
Drives communication to align program activities with strategy

Develops, maintains and deploys key project management tools and metrics
Define best practices, innovative on processes, and evangelize corporate across the engineering team
Implement and control best practices, including governance, change and risk management, resource planning, KPIs and continuous improvement


Qualifications:
Strong program management skills leading large multi-disciplinary teams, including: project planning, tracking dependencies, milestones, status communication and risk identification
Demonstrated expertise in multiple IT disciplines and an excellent understanding of software and hardware technology. Keeps up-to-date on technological developments.
Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills to mobilize and empower teams to achieve
Strong people management skills and proven ability to successfully manage up, down, and across an organization
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
