The Marketing Science team provides data-driven support to our Sales teams and clients that helps businesses understand and improve the value of spend on Facebook. This role will be responsible for analyzing marketplace trends and leveraging those insights to improve the region-level revenue growth as well as the performance of key stakeholders. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a history of ruthless prioritization, the ability to translate strategic insights into actionable plans, and development of strong cross functional working relationships. The ideal candidate will also have strong analysis skills, a passion for media and technology, and a demonstrated leadership track record.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of quantitative and highly skilled analysts
Set local and global pricing and inventory allocation strategy to ensure users have a great experience and advertisers get good value while continuing to grow Facebook’s ad business
Collaborate with the measurement group to refine our understanding of the value Facebook ads are delivering and make sure the prices reflect that value
Advise sales and business development to structure partnerships with advertisers and agencies that align our interests for the long term
Directly engage with large direct-response focused clients to help them understand the value of Facebook Ads and recommend optimization strategies that improve ROI
Requirements
Excellent analytical skills and ability to design analytical models
Must be able to multi-task and keep on track in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Proven communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions independently
Experience leading and developing high performing teams
Minimum of 10-12 years of related work experience preferred
Working knowledge of SQL and strong Excel skills
Background in advertising or consumer internet companies, knowledge of pricing strategy and tactics are preferable
