The World-wide Specialist Sales team in WW EPG is looking for a senior, experienced, Sales Leader to lead the landing of our Enterprise device sales motions and achievement of our device and mobility goals in the Asia Pacific time zone. This includes Windows Tablets, Windows Phone and Apps, the core Windows business and Enterprise mobility portfolio. This role will work with a number of teams across Microsoft to achieve and accelerate the building of our device selling capabilities in the world-wide Field and expand our sales of Microsoft devices and mobility solutions in our largest Enterprise customers. You will work directly with customers, partners and the Asia Pacific Field teams to land, sell and achieve quarterly and fiscal revenue and metric accountabilities. This role will do this while also working with the Redmond based Device & Mobility team, Compete, WW EPG, WW Industry, Enterprise Partners, Services and BGs to formulate the sales strategies to grow the business over the long-term.

As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for landing the end to end sales strategy and execution for devices & mobility across the Asia Pacific Field organization with a specific focus on devices and mobility related Field sellers. It includes direct accountabilities for all revenue and metric targets related to the Device & Mobility business in EPG and a deep focus on the core devices goals such as Tablet Units. This role will develop both the short and long-term sales strategies, working across groups to ensure they are continually optimized for execution. In this role, you will lead the landing of these sales strategies by being directly involved with customers and partners on specific key deals, working directly with account teams, specialist sellers and Field leadership to achieve sales results and scaling of the business. You will take this first-hand experience and synthesize the feedback, along with Field inputs to further optimize execution and drive course corrections to grow revenue and share. In addition to this, you will provide strategic insights back to both Sales and BG Executives on the progress being made and recommendations for changes in overall strategy going forward.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Land and ensure execution of sales strategies and plans for the Enterprise Device & Mobility business across the Asia Pacific Microsoft selling Field
• Spend the majority of time with customers and partners on large and strategic deals, directly contributing to sales accountabilities to continually evolve, scale and optimize the sales strategy
• Play a leadership role in our sales community, including both Windows Device SSPs, Mobility SSPs and the core Field, providing sales leadership by example and scaling out through mainstream selling engines by supplying sales guidance, resources and best practices
• Significantly impact and influence the sales model, roles, quota plans and metrics and land in Field to ensure successful execution of sales strategy for each fiscal year within the Devices business
• Drive the successful landing of key field (ATU, STU, PTU) commits for the Devices & Mobility business to ensure role clarity and optimization
• Formulate, recommend and land Field commits & offerings that ensure coordinated One Microsoft customer engagement while ensuring role clarity and minimizing channel conflicts
• Lead, coordinate and represent Devices & Mobility participation in key business planning and rhythm events, playing a leadership role in monthly and quarterly reviews
• Manage, track and course correct revenue and metric sales pipelines for the Devices & Mobility business on a time zone basis – personally get involved in top, critical and material deals to drive direct impact to result achievement
• Regularly and consistently engage directly with customers and partners at key EPG Enterprise customer facing events (CIO Summits, EPS, APS, EPF) and day to day at the Executive Briefing Center and local MTCs
• Partner with subsidiaries (Sales, Partner and Exec teams) to build innovative strategies, programs, and pilots that can be easily consumed and adopted to their local markets; work closely with subsidiaries to monitor and support execution and demonstrate sales results; spend significant time in front of local customers and partners to gather first hand feedback that will help adjust the strategy and scale it to other similar markets
• Land and implement scorecard metrics and sales accountability systems including a formal Rhythm of the business to drive and measure the strength and impact the Devices & Mobility portfolio to Microsoft’s and our customer’s overall success
• Develop the means to motivate and commit Partners to grow the business by ensuring appropriate programs, reference architectures and deployment tools are available to fully demonstrate our solutions/products value while optimizing the solution for the customer
• Influence the future strategy and evolution of the Device & Mobility Enterprise Sales force through working in close collaboration with BG, Services, Industry, DPE and SMS&P team to serve as the voice of the customer and Sales community with the goal of taking feedback and driving the changes required to change course as needed

The successful candidate will be an experienced Sales leader with a strong track record of results and global sales management experience, with a focus on landing execution through others. They will have experience working with the largest Enterprise customers and partners. The successful candidate will have a bachelors degree in business or similar (MBA a plus) and at least 10 years of successful accomplishments Sales related roles within the high tech software or services space

The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong selling skills, strong execution skills, creativity and the ability to work effectively under deadlines and in complex business environments. Exceptional cross-team collaboration, impact and influence, and business and strategy leadership competencies are needed for success. The position also requires the candidate to have excellence customer focus, presence and strong drive for Sales results.

You must be a highly motivated self-starter that will demonstrate initiative and ability to work as part of a global, virtual team that creates order out of chaos and demands excellence. Lastly, this role will be interfacing with senior levels within Microsoft, our partners, clients and key influencers in the market. The candidate will be expected to drive very effective executive communication and have the executive presence necessary to drive joint business strategy and deliver results within Microsoft

This role is based in Singapore. The role requires the ability to travel 35-50% of the time. International travel is required.
