Job description

Netflix is seeking a talented individual to join the Global Payments team, where we are focused on running and enhancing the company's payments capabilities. We can't grow the business without the ability to accept payments, so continually improving our processing platform is critical to our future success and growth. This is a high visibility position which will report to the Head of Global Payments in Los Gatos, California.

You are someone who is comfortable and confident interacting with all levels of an organization. You will be asked to frequently represent the Payments team across the company and debate controversial topics with our executives.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with extensive experience who is comfortable running payments in Asia with little direction from HQ. You will partner and build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external bank and processing partners globally. You will focus on continually improving our ability to process transactions, grow our industry relationships and be the company's subject matter expert on Asian payments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

Driving the Asian payments strategy by improving the performance of existing payment methods, while evaluating any new payment methods that prove to have incremental value.
Partner cross-functionally throughout the organization (product, engineering, CS, legal, marketing etc.) to get things done - whether that be optimization or market expansion.
Own key payment metrics for your markets and derive actionable insights into improving the experience for our customers, improving performance, and ensuring efficient cost structures.

Qualifications

Candidates must be highly analytical and strong, effective communicators. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years experience managing very large CNP/recurring payments in Asia.

Netflix is fast-growing but we also have a flat organizational structure - which means that employees are often asked to take on additional responsibilities and perform at an increased pace with no hand holding. You must be motivated, disciplined and you will be asked to make key decisions quickly and autonomously.
Deep industry knowledge of global CNP payment processing, recurring billing, and e-commerce
Broad and strong relationships across the payments community
Experience working and negotiating with external business partners and vendors
Ability to juggle multiple critical tasks simultaneously and often
Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed.
