Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing Planning and Operations, for Asia Pacific, as part of the hub marketing team based in Singapore.
The position supports the hub and country marketing teams in the identification of marketing opportunities and the development of marketing strategies, built around the use of analytics and insights, to drive brand preference and usage for Visa in support of country business priorities and in alignment with global frameworks.
This involves the provision of dedicated support to individual countries on a project basis as needed, as well as support for regional initiatives and reporting to senior management.

This is an individual contributor role with elements of driving strategies, proposing initiatives, hands-on execution and stakeholder interaction across the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a regional overview of key marketing strategies and ensure that deployments of marketing budgets and resources are optimized to drive the business across the region
Working closely with the analytics and consumer insights teams based in the hub, partner with the AP marketing teams in the building of robust marketing strategy frameworks at a regional level, a country level and at an activity level to ensure rigor and quality
Provide strategic support to, and lead where appropriate, ad hoc country opportunities
Provide ongoing tracking and evaluation of competitive strategies and activities across the region to inform global, regional and local responses.
Support the AP marketing hub leadership team with updates and analysis for executive business and marketing reviews and decision making
Initiate and support hub led initiatives that contribute to the performance of the AP marketing team


Qualifications
MBA or relevant Graduate Degree from top-tier institutions (or similar academic experience)
At least 8 years of marketing/commercial strategy experience with global/multi-national businesses, with a mandatory requirement of 4 years working in a management consultancy role
Broad understanding/experience in payment cards & financial services is a plus
Strong analytical capabilities as well as project management experience
Proven ability to work in dynamic organizational environments and multi-task effectively
Able to engage, influence and build credibility to management and key stakeholders
Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills
Curious, collaborative, dynamic
Team player, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills (in English)
Proficient in MS applications including Excel and Power Point
