Marketing Director IWC Schaffhausen Singapore

The Marketing Director is responsible for the marketing strategy and its implementation in the region. The region comprises Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, and a support to Australia. A key focus is on high profile, state-of-the-art events and effective PR work.
Key responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Action Plan

• Define the regional marketing strategy as integral part of the regional Business Plan and adapt the central strategies according local specifities
• Define and implement a country specific PR & Communications plan and event activities
• Lead and supervise the Trade Marketing Manager concerning the trade marketing plan and activities
• Develop and implement key partnership and supervise roll out
• Generate new ideas to develop the brand awareness and notoriety – provide specific recommendations (by family, by line, etc)

Consumer Marketing

• Define and implement media plans, press and PR activities with assistance of media and PR agencies
• Collection and evaluation of press clippings and quarterly submission of PR coverage by country
• Conduct state-of-the-art client events around the region and one major PR event per country
• Conduct market/ competitor intelligence research, develop indicated actions and share with regional Brand director
• Provide IWC team regularly with competitor benchmarking information (events, actions, etc)
• Follow up and analyse effectiveness and efficiency of IWC product launches
• Develop and maintain CRM activities for the internal boutique with retail management






Reporting and analyses

• Produce reports to IWC headquarters of monthly consumer marketing activities
• Analyse sales results and provide specific marketing recommendations (by family, by line, etc.) in conjunction with relevant sales managers
• Provide IWC team regularly with competitor benchmarking information (events, actions etc.)

Commercial Support

• Support the General Manager in key account management (e.g. presentations etc.)
• Actively liaise with HQ and to ensure efficiency and alignment of marketing activities

Marketing-related budgets and investments

• Manage and control regional and country specific marketing budgets
• Supervise A&P budgets for PoS, Printed Materials (Publications) and Promotional Materials
• S&D budgets for Marketing Fees and Other Selling Costs
• Supervise Trade Marketing Manager in CAPEX investments

Your profile
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• At least 6 years management experience in luxury goods or FMCG marketing
• High flexibility, independent working style, creative, hard worker. Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong strategic and conceptual thinker
• Outstanding sensitivity to luxury and to create state-of-the-art luxury events
• Must be comfortable with regular travel in the region
• Working experience in Asia a plus
