Job Description
- Develop and Implement a company Sales & Business Development Plan to achieve the company’s revenue &client acquisition targets for 2011
- Identify a minimum of 15 Key Accounts based on potential revenue or strategic importance to company
- Achieve revenue targets and KPIs through a planned, mapped out and diligent sales process to acquire new business
- Maintain close relationships with key decision-makers in each Key Account through email (ongoing), phone(monthly) and in-person meetings (as needed)
- Respond to all corporate queries/RFP/RFQ within 1 hour (initial acknowledgement) and within stated response time (for RFP response);
- Follow up diligently on all quotations given or queries responded to and document in client's CRM sales tracking system
- Using client's CRM sales tracking system, develop & Implement Communication Plan for each account to ensure continual (but not obtrusive) flow of information on new products & services, new clients won, thought leadership, etc
- Upkeep client's CRM sales tracking system on a daily basis or as needed to reflect the most current disposition of all accounts
- Provide monthly Account Reports to include Sales activity, Revenue (anecdotal & forecast), SWOT, new accounts added/lost and the following month’s activities
- Provide regular feedback on new industry products or services, customer comments and competitors
- Drive business to ensuring sustained growth, focusing on achieving/ surpassing sales targets. Expanding business reach and proactively creating new sales leads/ opportunities.
- Identify key Industry events toattend
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
- Locates or proposes potential business partnerships by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs andgoals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization's value bykeeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
- Enhances organization reputationby accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Assist the Vice President,Sales in the USA as required for any work-related issues
Desired Skills & Experience
- Hospitality experience a plus
- English as a main language with at least one other language
- Technical knowledge of PMS systems a big advantage
