You will lead the Regional Facilities Managers and be the regional budget owner. You are comfortable with rapidly changing technology and willing to learn and utilize Google tools in daily operations.
Responsibilities
Set the strategic direction for Google’s regional facilities management operations, partnering closely with senior site leaders to align the regional operational strategy with business development plans and initiatives; demonstrate thought leadership in promoting innovation in service delivery and customer experiences.
Align and develop the regional team to scale for the future, allocating appropriate resources to deliver innovative facilities and service solutions that promote collaboration, productivity and health. Lead and inspire your team and our internal and external partners with mindset for innovation, while staying focused on exceeding customer satisfaction and the sustainability of our buildings.
Execute complex service delivery models in alignment with future product areas and business growth. Responsible for strategic space planning and delivery of facilities operations/services (reception/mail, event space, maintenance and repair, janitorial, grounds keeping and environmental resource management). Partner with global program owners to deliver flawless and unconventional Google Services (massage, fitness, food, transportation, concierge, perks).
Establish a leadership role in communicating the facility and services strategy and vision across the region. Drive partnerships with key stakeholders, and effectively manage and engage in conversations with internal and external parties. Collaborate with cross-functional peers and your team to build buy-in and implement operational objectives/processes across the region that positively impact the end user experience and support the organization’s long term vision.
Responsible for financial performance; manage operating budgets. Partner with Finance to develop relevant financial reporting & management tools. Make sound financial decisions using advanced understanding of the business, its drivers and financial big picture. Implement tools/systems that support the growth and scale of Google’s operations.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in related field (facilities, hospitality, business, engineering, or architecture) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 8 years experience in operations, facilities planning, and people management.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven vision, leadership and critical thinking skills to prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment; ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives that exceed customer expectations and spur market transformation.
Ability to think "out of the box" and bring creative unconventional solutions to the table; action oriented with a record of driving strategic change and initiatives where prudent.
Excellent analytical, financial, and risk management skills to synthesize complex and diverse data.
Detail-oriented and highly proficient in producing presentations, schedules, budgets and financial models; ability to communicate effectively to senior management and at all levels.
Ability to balance service delivery with business needs and budget objectives. Proven vision, leadership and strategic skills to prioritize evolving real estate and facilities initiatives in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
