Job description

Reporting to the Director, the Deputy Director will provide strategic direction in engaging the NUS alumni and stakeholders by leveraging on information management, communications and collaborations with corporate partners. You will lead a team to develop and implement initiatives that enhance organisational excellence and catalyse change across the Department.

Core Responsibilities:
· To spearhead alumni engagement initiatives.
· To lead a team in Implementing the projects for IM, Marcom, Alumni Engagement and Partnerships in the areas of:
o Conceptualisation and marketing of Projects
o Goals Setting
o Planning & Implementation
o Evaluation
· To assist the Director in planning, managing and supervising the staff in the department.
· To coach and mentor next level of leaders for the department.
· To lead and manage change initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
· At least 12 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Pro-active, results-oriented and with excellent communication skills.
· A team player and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with the NUS corporate culture and/or work experience in a public sector environment would be an advantage.
· Candidate should have hands-on experience in initiating, organizing and managing activities.
· Candidate should be an NUS alumnus.
