Title: Head of Solutions, APAC Emerging Markets
As the world's largest alternative payment network, PayPal is constantly working with merchant customers to develop new products that help merchants sell more, and help consumers find and buy the things they want anytime, anywhere and on any device.
The Solutions Management team is part of PayPal's global product management organization and is responsible for working with customers to define and drive product offerings built on the core PayPal product stack. In addition, Solutions Management works with core product management to define the long-term evolution of PayPal's consumer and merchant product portfolios.
Job Description:
We are currently looking for the Head of Solutions for APAC Emerging Markets. This person will lead a team of Solutions Managers in India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, China and SEA, and to deliver solutions for strategic partnerships and merchant services in these markets.
The role of a Solutions Manager is to translate product strategy into implementable solutions and to craft solutions for our customers' problems by creatively leveraging existing eBay Inc products and designing new ones for the APAC emerging markets. This person will engage at the ideation phase of a new product, creatively design a solution, act as the expert to all constituents, and work with agile teams for delivery.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining and driving regional and customer-specific solutions
Constantly evolve market understanding and internal product knowledge
Work closely with a cross-functional team of Business Development, Product Development, Engineering, Design and User Research to deliver solutions
Write clear, consistent, detailed market and solution requirements specs when required
Help lead PayPal's long-term global product vision and strategy by driving needs into global product roadmap
Act as the regional voice and advocate providing requirements and emerging needs based on market and BD trends
Actively manage product and team to achieve goals related to financial and performance metrics
Developing thought-leadership on payments and ecommerce
Build relationships with business and product leaders across PayPal to ensure strategy and roadmaps effectively support market needs
Drive the full lifecycle of solutions management including opportunity assessment, product design, product development, product launch and post-launch management and optimization
Job Requirements
12+ years of product and/or solution management experience
Self-motivated, positive-thinking, team player, leader, partner, problem-solver
Entrepreneurial, highly creative, and able to innovate quickly
Understanding of eBay Inc products and business lines
Knowledge of existing and emerging multichannel payment technologies
Strong understanding of the payments industry, particularly in the areas of Mobile, POS and Wallet
Solid understanding of business capabilities/product architecture
Experience bringing products to fruition at enterprise level
Experience successfully managing multiple projects
Excellent executive presence
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in writing business cases
Mastery of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
MBA preferred. Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.
