Logistics Director, APAC
Global Freight and Warehousing - Global Service Logistics - GSS

Manages an Oracle team of 9 direct reports, some based in other countries within JAPAC, requiring varying levels of management support, which collectively provide financial, import/export compliance, operational, and system support for the Region. Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to achieve expected deliverables and results.

Lead the Region in ensuring alignment with the strategic long-term goals of the organization and the business unit.
Establishes team plans and goals, prioritizing and aligning them with the organization’s strategic, tactical, and operational plan. Monitors personal and team performance. Makes improvements and adjustments to optimize achievement of results
Single point of contact for leading the Region and Oracle's Lead Logistics Supplier in achieving/exceeding Operational and Key Performance Indicators. Developing and cultivating a strong working relationship and a highly leveraged yet integrated Lead Logistics Supplier organization is essential.

Manage the day-to-day and strategic relationship with key stakeholders and Lead Logistics Supplier. Prepare and perform quarterly business reviews.

Meets regularly with Lead Logistics Supplier to review Key Performance and Operational Metric and develop corrective action/continuous improvement plans as required.

Desired Skills and Experience
Experience and Skills:
a. Degree or equivalent experience
b. Minimum 5 years experience in proving Critical Services Logistics.
c. Minimum 5 years experience effectively managing and developing people.
d. Minimum 5 years experience with a high tech, mission critical service delivery environment.
e. Demonstrated strategic and tactical abilities and results.
f. Demonstrated excellent communication and negotiation skills.
g. Independently motivated, requires infrequent motivation and guidance.
h. Demonstrated ability to expresses and articulate key elements of ideas or concepts (both written and verbal) in a logical, descriptive, and comprehensible manner. Able to simplify complex issues.
i. Excels in a fast pace, high pressure, and often very fluid environment.
j. Demonstrated ability to see things through to successful conclusion.
k. Demonstrated ability to act with a sense of urgency, a propensity for action, and confidence in the likely success of plans and initiatives. Delivers results that meet or exceed expectation.
