Sales Director - APAC - ON24 - Singapore
Job description
The Sales Director shall be responsible for establishing, developing and closing business opportunities with New Account, existing Key accounts and Channel Partners. The position requires senior level sales experience with F500 accounts and Channel Partners. This position will be based on ON24’s Singapore office, and responsible for the APAC region. Specific areas of focus are China, ASEAN & ANZ.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance the “go to market” & Sales Strategy for ON24 products & services
Manage existing Sales team, forecast and plan for growth
Manage all activities and coordinate between ON24 and our key accounts. Promote full range of solutions to customers. Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations.
Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with all accounts in territory.
Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure smooth implementations of requirements in the products.
Identify, quantify, and recommend action plan to address new business opportunities consistent with overall strategy.
Demonstrate ability to manage customer accounts at both the senior management and technical level.
Interfaces externally with customers, prospects and partners’ organization, especially with Marketing, Solution Managers and Procurement teams
Establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships
Drive technical discussions
Maintains a broad technical knowledge of ON24’s products, roadmap, value proposition and strengths.
Create and maintain documented direct and channel sales kit including presentations, documentations, demos. Tailor to each customer's specific interests and presents at strategic customer meetings.
Interfaces internally with Sales, Engineering and other relevant parts of ON24’s organization
Understands the account plans and the sales strategy, provides consultative product and solution expertise
Supports account team work along the sales cycle : customer engagement, bidding phase, business planning, negotiations, customer delivery and management
Co-operate with Product Marketing and Engineering in order to share key findings and market requirements and to suggest product improvements
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong Management & Leadership Experience
Proven Track record of developing emerging Markets
Good background understanding and knowledge of SAAS solutions
Basic understanding of virtual event, rich media, webcast technologies would be a plus
Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem
Excellent in communication, presentation, listening and negotiating in English is a must. Additional languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Mandarin.
Managing a regional P&L a plus
