Marketplace Development Account Manager - APAC - Google - Singapore

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

This Marketplace Development Account Manager role is a unique opportunity to be a key, high-visibility player in a strategic entrepreneurial business at Google. You will become an expert in the new and dynamic world of programmatic brand buying, custom Google brand solutions, Real-Time Bidding and Demand Side Platform. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, operational excellence and market analysis. The role involves working with some of the most technically advanced digital leaders across APAC on both the buy and sell side, so you will need to build and maintain very close relationships with top partners. You will need to have a strong understanding of the publisher ecosystem and Real-Time Bidding demand marketplace, including commercial strategies and technical capabilities. will be customer centric, detail oriented, proactive, creative, analytical and highly motivated.

Responsibilities
Serve as a first point of escalation and resolution for all partner issues Manage and monitor private marketplace campaigns: set up, traffic, optimize, and deliver reports summarizing performance to partners.
Work together with buy and sell-side account managers and technical account managers across APAC region.
Develop regional/global best practices for effective account management and operational support.
Partner with Strategic Partnership Leads and AdX Buy Side Account Managers to source publisher inventory for private auctions.
Collaborate with the advertiser and platforms sales teams to sell and fulfill direct programmatic solutions to end-clients, agencies, trading desks and demand-side platforms and source demand for our publishers.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of digital media/technology sales or buying experience; major agency or publisher experience

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills - with experience interacting and building relationship with senior-level executives.
Partnership management and understanding of the programmatic media ecosystem and technology, including exchanges, networks, ad servers, and trading desks.
Entrepreneurial attitude: a flexible and fast-moving self-starter who thrives in a start-up team environment.
Proven ability to handle ambiguity, work collaboratively with internal and partner contacts, influence cross-functional teams and lead teams when required.
Fluency in English oral and written communication.
Proficiency in an Asian language is an added advantage.
