Regional Associate Director - Market Access - Allergan - Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Expertise (40%)
To be the Eye care therapeutic lead for Market Access
To have in depth knowledge of clinical data and economic benefits of Allergan key eye care products in dry eye, glaucoma and retina diseases
To be familiarized with current treatment algorithms across AP and competitor landscape for eye care, especially retina diseases
To develop and provide value messages and arguments for the relevant payers with the payer perspective in mind
To assist the Market Access Director in strategy development to optimize pricing and reimbursement in eye care, especially in retina diseases and glaucoma

Technical knowledge (15%)
To provide technical expertise in conducting systematic literature review and meta-analyses for eye care indications To guide and provide technical support to local affiliates in developing reimbursement dossiers and budget impact analyses

Market access capabilities building (15%)
To assist the Market Access Director in identifying areas of continuous training needs for market access team across Asia Pacific in areas including negotiation skills, stakeholder mapping and management.
To organise regional reimbursement panel when needed

Data gap filling (20%)
To assist Market Access Director in identifying the gap earlier for market access success
To work with different Academics or Medical Societies to collect the relevant data
To manage projects in a timely fashion to meet submission deadlines

Effective relationship (10%)
To collaborate effectively with local, regional and global colleagues across different functions (marketing, medical affairs, regulatory)

High level of specialised skills and experience in dealing with HTA agencies, government and medical professionals are required such as in formulating value messages to payers, negotiation and pricing.

Qualifications

Education :

Background in economics or medical sciences

Post graduate studies in health economics, biostatistics

Experience :

Reimbursment submission expereinces in HTA setting within Asia Pacific

Negotiation with government and HTA agencies

Pricing

Research skills
