Senior Business Development Manager - Microsoft - Singapore

Surface has received a huge amount of interest and excitement since launch, and as the time is right to create a small team of dedicated sales and technical professionals who can help us accelerate growth and our commercial footprint. This role will be primarily be responsible for working with the newly created Devices Solution Sales Professionals (SSPs), Account Managers (AMs) and Devices Time Zones leads (TMZ) to drive adoptions in key commercial customers to create and close opportunities to meet sales targets and secure reference wins in key verticals - Also, this role will work with the LARs and Distributors in each of the local markets to drive opportunities and close customer opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Ø Deliver unit sales goals in partnership with regional sales teams
Ø Close Surface-specific opportunities with accounts managers , Devices time zone leads , and SSPs Make experts of the local subsidiary and region.
Ø Support in operational execution of complex deals with the operations teams and the BG
Ø Ensure excellence in pipeline and inventory management

Requirements and Skills/Qualifications:
Ø Relevant & Proven Experience: 5 to 10 years device hardware sales to the commercial space
Ø Proven success in closing complex deals and technical understanding of devices and commercial requirements
Ø Strong Team Player: Work effectively across teams to solve customer and partner issues, leverage best practices, & deliver results.
Ø Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute on complex opportunities
Ø Able to work to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in new businesses - positive approach to problem solving and working in partnership with the Windows BG and sales leadership in local market to close big deals
Ø Strong Communications & Presentation Skills
Ø Great leadership and strong passion for building and driving a business
Ø Good understanding of Microsoft’s business model and sales model
Travel Required: 50%
