Position Summary
The Senior Director, Consulting will undertake Consulting engagements for clients across Asia Pacific. As a senior consultant in the team with impressive tenured experience at a client organization behind them, this individual will build strategies for Visa clients to grow their payments business. The Senior Director will create compelling structured recommendations and influence clients to develop their business to the next level with Visa.
The Senior Director will have a Debit specialization, with deep tenured experience in running a high performing Visa Debit portfolio.

Responsibilities
• Design specialist consulting solutions to client requirements, striving for innovative and efficient approaches. This requires deep knowledge of Debit, and of retail banking deposits product management and marketing.
• Develop frameworks and approaches specific to Debit portfolio management to showcase Visa Consulting’s approach and success
• Develop and provide resources and tools that can be used in Consulting engagements
• Undertake client projects, including project road mapping, client interviewing, analytical review of inputs, structuring of recommendations, report writing.
• Bring deep subject matter expertise to bear in undertaking engagements such as portfolio strategy, portfolio diagnostics, cardholder life cycle health checks.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops as an element of client engagements
• Foster partnership with other functional areas, ensuring alignment of opportunities and recommendations Provide subject matter expertise support and knowledge transfer to the wider Consulting team.
• Model Consulting competencies and guide team members along the accreditation path (pertaining to Debit engagements)
• Select and manage any consulting partners involved in the delivery of consulting engagements.

The Senior Director will be responsible for assignments across Asia Pacific and will be based in Singapore.

Qualifications

Experience
• Minimum 15 years experience in retail banking with a significant tenure involved in the management and optimization of a Visa Debit portfolio. Should have experience in cardholder marketing and portfolio management within in an issuing bank in a senior level capacity
• Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred (e.g. with a major bank from a mature cards market such as USA, UK or Australia)
• Experience in several key issuer business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards
• Understanding of card issuers’ P&L and critical factors in driving profitability
• Experience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics
• Some consulting experience preferred with project management and/or process re-engineering credentials helpful

Skills
• Expert level Excel and PowerPoint
• An understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, scoring schemes, etc.
• Expert level meeting and workshop facilitation skills
• Excellent project management skills

Qualifications
