Job description
As a Staffing Partner, you will partner with various managers to understand their staffing needs and develop a strategy to hire the most qualified candidates in a cost effective and timely manner. As the recruiter you will continually seek improvements and efficiencies in the full cycle of the recruiting process
Main Responsibilities:
* Develops staffing strategies with the hiring manager using the internet, job fairs, college programs, tradeshows, agencies, internal sourcers and employee referrals, cold calling and diversity shows
* Screens prospective candidates and works with the hiring manager in candidate selection, interviewing, reference checking, extending the offer and closing the candidate
* Works on special projects as needed
* Partners with University Relations Program to fill college hires and Interns
* Manages the requisition process and validates data quality
* Acts as a business partner consulting and advising managers in regards to hiring needs and trends in the market place
* Works with other staffing team members (staffing managers, employment coordinators, sourcers and administrative assistants) to make sure the staffing process is effective and meets the needs of the company
* Stays apprised of industry news concerning organizational changes, layoffs, and any other situation where talented individuals may find themselves seeking employment
* Meets with hiring managers on a regular basis to analyze future workforce plans, effectiveness of staffing strategies and management of resources

Must be at ease speaking with candidates and mangers at all levels within the organization. Must be able to establish reasonable expectations with a given task
* Trust: ability to build trust consistently across the organization – in both a consultative way as well as in a general sense of ability to get things done
* Management Skills: ability to manage resources and educate hiring managers on the staffing process
* Influence/Selling Skills: ability to gain trust, and influence behaviour. Knows how to uncover candidate’s requirements and needs, and close the candidate. Knows how to position the company against competitors as the Company of Choice”
* Problem Solving: strong problem solving skills. Able to conduct research to find answers to questions and solutions to problems. Is well organized and able to manage a variety of tasks
* Ability to work with little or no supervision to meet established expectations
