Resource Manager - Misys - Singapore
Job description
The primary responsibility of the Resource Manager is to deliver qualified resources to projects and operational services in a timely and efficient manner. This is to be achieved while supporting the overall business objectives of Misys Professional Services, APAC.
To achieve that objective the incumbent is accountable for driving four high visibility Resource Management functions:
1. Workforce Management
Maintain up-to-date profiles of skills, knowledge, and competencies for a centralized pool of resources (across full time employees, contractors and partners)
Deploy fully equipped resources to projects or operational activities as requested by the managers of the projects/operational activities
Manage the availability / utilization of resources by maintaining up-to-date assignment information in Open Air
Create and manage Purchase Requests for all sub-contracted resources through NetSuite
Monitor Open Air time sheet entry and accuracy
Preparation and distribution of utilization reports
Participate in the development of resourcing strategies and plans with a view to achieving financial targets (including utilization and cost)
Maintain and report on headcount movement including open requisitions, new hires and resignations
2. Recruitment & Selection
Participate in the development and maintenance of accurate position descriptions
Support company hiring policies and procedures
Assist hiring decisions by conducting screening activities, behaviour description interviews, skills evaluation activities and reference checks as required with HR
3. Performance Management
Co-ordinate and support performance planning activities
Gather performance information and feedback on/for employees
Provide coaching for performance and career development
Support annual performance appraisal process (typically the line manager will perform this function)
4. Training and Development
Develop & support orientation activities for new, promoted, and transferred employees
Develop career development plans/options for all roles
Guide employees (via MiCareer) on career management and development opportunities that are aligned with the Misys strategic plan
Co-ordinate planned developmental opportunities through the implementation and execution of training plans
