Description:
IoT/IoE Sales Solutions GTM Group seeks a proven sales leader to join its sales organization in the role of Director, IoT/IoE Sales in Asia Pacific Sales Region. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for building and guiding a team to drive revenue growth in targeted markets for the Internet of Things Business Group. This candidate must have a high level of expertise with customers, CXO level roles, Lines of Business executives, partners, internal teams and executive leadership.
Strong sales negotiation and leadership abilities to drive understanding of the constantly-evolving marketplace are critical to the success of the individual in this position. This is a high visibility and challenging leadership role that will enable Cisco to drive the targeted growth of $3.5B in FY15.
Functional Requirements & Skills:
• Develop and implement global Go-to-Market strategies for direct & channels
• Work collaboratively with global theatre sales teams to execute against go-to-market strategies.
• Analyze global industry dynamics and market transitions and identify implications and opportunities
• Enhance customer intimacy and provide thought leadership through strategic dialogue with key customers.
• Influence peer groups at Cisco through visionary technology thought leadership.
Experience:
• Excellent track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals consistently.
• Proven ability to develop and implement direct & channel sales strategies on a global basis at Cisco.
• Excellent track record for achieving results in both startup and large corporate environments.
• Demonstrated ability to absorb new technology, markets and customer segments and implement sales and channel to enable success.
• Industry expertise to include deep understanding of the communications and networking industry including insight into emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at senior executive level.
• Demonstrated ability to present clear and succinct business cases and recommendations to all key stakeholders across multiple sales theatres.
