Job Description
Responsibilities

You will be part of a team responsible for formulating and reviewing Singapore's energy policies and strategies to ensure the security and reliability of Singapore's energy sector.

This Role Involves Both Policy Analysis And Project Management Work. Specifically, You Will Have To

Propose and manage policies to regulate and develop the electricity and gas sectors. This includes examining and evaluating regulatory issues to balance between the objectives of economic competitiveness, energy security and environmental sustainability;
Review and formulate strategies to diversify Singapore's energy sources;
Identify, plan and implement the development of electricity and natural gas infrastructure to meet Singapore's energy demand; and
Monitor developments in global energy markets and analyse implications for domestic energy policies.


Requirements

University degree required. Specialization in Economics and/or Engineering is preferred.
Experience in policy review and formulation, particularly in the public sector
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
