Directs the activities of sales managers, including hiring, coaching, developing, and performance reviews. May also manage application engineers/managers and sales support staff.
Sets strategy for area. Oversees execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, trade shows, developer conferences, channel development events, and customer seminars.
Forecasts sales and assigns quota responsibilities to sales managers. Responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned revenue quotas. Interfaces closely with sales teams in order to drive business and generate revenue.
Provides market analysis and feedback to corporate marketing and sales staff concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities. Gives guidance to product roadmaps. Participates in determining pricing strategy.
Manages significant region revenue and expense budgets.
Acts as final escalation in the authorization of discounts.
May represent Autodesk at customer, reseller and/or industry events
