Job Description:
We are looking for a Director, Global Marketing and Channels to drive lead generation initiatives and thought leadership programs to grow Singtel Global Offices (SGO). You will engage with the analysts’ community to position Singtel as Asia Pacific's leading ICT market leader and provide product with competitive market intelligence to enhance our market offerings and to grow IPVPN business for carrier accounts.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Marketing & Mobility Sales, GEB, you will be responsible for:
Leading a team of Marketing Managers to develop and execute in-country marketing strategies to help generate leads and improve sales funnels. The plans include
- BTL target marketing campaigns – events, seminars, eDMs, telemarketing, webinars and promotions
- Overseas product centric marketing – eg. managed services
- Channel marketing initiatives
- Joint marketing with partners/distributors – PR releases, joint pricing promotion etc
- In-country collaterals and case studies
- Developing and maintaining addressable customer database
- Customer Engagement initiatives to enhance customer experience with SingTel
Working closely with SGO sales team to develop and drive overall Marketing Strategies
Working closely with Global Alliance and Product House to evaluate and develop market initiatives to address new opportunities, extension of network reach, and creation of new product USPs etc. This includes recommending business model, market sizing, & pricing recommendation to justify the partnership development
Working with Marcom to implement consistent regional branding.
Compliance and support of all marketing support system to ensure centralization of market intelligence, pricing benchmarks, competitive watch analysis, process flow etc
Leading a team of market analysts to engage leading analysts like IDC, Gartner, Frost & Sullivan, Ovum, etc to
- Exciting the analysts community of SingTel’s vision, strategies, service launches, etc
- Garnering industry recognition through key analysts’ awards
- Providing competitive intelligence to sales and product
- Raising SGO profile by engaging overseas analysts in respective country
- Managing budget for subscriptions to analyst reports
Lead a team of 2 channel managers to identify and grow channel partners, especially IPVPN business, in key SGO countries
Desired Skills and Experience
A recognized University degree with 10 years’ experience with about 5 years in a supervisory position in a sales/marketing environment
Good knowledge of telecommunications services
Strong interest in a spectrum of technologies
Strong marketing and business development skills
Analytic/segmentation skills
Good knowledge of products for bundling/packaging issues
